Our Mind is the most important part of our body. As the computers has CPU to control all its activities in the same way brain is there, to control all our activity. Brain is the power house of our body.

When it’s the question of power house, it also becomes important for us to keep it in a good health. As everything requires maintenance in the same way our brain also require maintenance. So how should we train our mind ?

In the Holy Gita, Sri Krishna said to Arjuna, “karm kiye ja phal ki chinta na kar.” Meaning keep on doing the good work don’t worry about the fruits.

Here it’s very hard to understand, what he exactly wants to say. Even I didn’t understand; what I understood, was that we should keep on working. But I came across the real meaning when I saw a video of Sandeep Maheshwari.

Here he explained that; work does not mean, you should do any work, even a rickshaw puller keeps on pulling the rickshaw throughout the day. Our work should be channeled properly. Now how could it be channeled properly? By work, Sri Krishna did not mean to say the work which we do physically, like we use our hands and legs to do the work. Here he wanted us, to focus on our brain, our thoughts, our imaginations.

When our thoughts are right, our speech is right and when our speech is right our actions are right.

Our mind, keeps on talking to us throughout the day, but it talks more about negative things rather than of positive. According to some research , it’s said 80% of our thoughts are negative. These negative thoughts leads us to depression and anxiety and ultimately leads towards health issues like, High blood pressure and diabetes. The people who are successful are the most successful controller of their brains.

Win in your mind, and you will win the world……

So, let’s get into the topic now, how can we train our mind or focus towards thinking positive.

  1. Watch videos of successful people: Sometimes we become very low in the rat race of our life. We feel depressed and the negative thoughts starts infecting our mind. In such situations we need somebody to boost our energy. Listening to these people helps a lot to think positively. Make it a daily routine of listening to successful people at least for half an hour. It gives good result, if it’s done at the morning time.

Did you hear about MBA Chaiwala? This young boy Prafull Billore, owner and founder of MBA Chaiwala is actually not a MBA. But he worked hard and setup his own business and makes crores of money through his business. He wanted to crack his CAT exam and pursue MBA, but he was not able to clear the exam and was totally broken. With his broken mind and heart he started hanging to various cities of India and finally settled down in Ahmedabad. he started to work in Mc.Donalds and make his ends meet, when he got the idea of opening a small tea stall, and from here starts his success story.

  1. Read Books: Read self motivation books. Self motivation books help you to be positive and also keep you focused towards your work.

Few days back I was feeling very low, when my husband gave a book in my hands, 80% Mindset 20% Skills by Dev Gadhvi. It did its magic on me, and now I am on my way to sharpen my skills and along with that yours too. Books are packed with knowledge so make reading books a habit, they are your best friends who don’t judge you.

I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book…J.K.Rowling

3.Good company : It’s very important to be in a company of good and positive people. Bad company of people ruins good morals. If you are in bad company, you will not be able to succeed in your life. People who are positive, hard working they think about their own progress rather than judging others. Try to open good segment of your brain and see good in others.

4. Good food and Meditation: We all know about it, that meditation is the only way to get a stronger brain. A brain which thinks smartly and acts smartly. It’s a path which helps in attaining peace in our mind.

Good food is directly connected to our body and mind. At morning when you take the first bite of your favourite fruit and start chewing it, have you experienced how your body and mind reacts to it ? It feels like the tangy and sweet taste of the fruit is spreading everywhere in your mind and it is soothing your mind. That’s the magic of healthy food. Your food should be simple but nutritious.

Every morning when I eat my favourite fruit, I just close my eyes to feel the sweet taste and the soothing experience in my mind, to feel the freshness of the fruit and to thank God for creating such magical things for us.

5. Help others: Help others, it makes you more smart and makes you happy from within. You feel proud of your self when you help others. Have you seen all the great and successful people they never look back to help others.

You must have heard about Idli Amma, the 85 year old, lady who sells idlis just for Rs 1. This old lady K.Kamalathal, well known as paatima refused to raise the price of the idlis during the current pandemic period because she loves to feed others. She is selling idlis for Rs.1 in Coimbatore from last 30 years. This is the passion of helping others and this is what positive thinking can do. Seeing her hard work the business tycoon Anand Mahindra expressed his interest to invest in her business and bought her a LPG stove. He also promised her of providing home and workspace. This is the power of helping.

In the current pandemic situation we all should join our hands to help others, to save the lives to bring positivity in thought and actions, and we will together overcome the current situation….
